Initiations

Initiations can be used as a powerful means of energetic clearing, re-patterning and affirmation. Often they are a means to awakening one's awareness to valuable and affirming sychronicities in one's life.

As Deepak Chopra has described in The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, "It (sychronicity) allows us to make real decisions instead of blind guesses as we move foward in our lives...to choose the kind of life we want, to live, and to fulfill our spiritual journey...we gain the ability to transform our lives according to our intentions."

Living our lives according to our intentions means knowing what those intentions are, making room in our psyches for them, and ritualizing experience around them. That is the Wisewoman Wisdom Walk, and each Initiation supports an energetic and spiritual level along that path. Join us!

Wisewoman Wisdom Walk™ offers seven Initiations based upon the seven energetic centers in the human body and upon the sacramental and symbolic experiences they "embody." These sacred Initiations follow the ritual path of the Native Americian Medicine Wheel and the Kabalah or Tree of Life, as well as the sacraments as they are encountered in Christ-Consciousness based spiritualities.

Each of the Initiations incorporates story-telling, ritualistic traditions, guided meditations, Reiki clearings and a hands-on creative experience such as making an altar or sacred space, prayer bundles, sage sticks, dream catchers, masks and ceremonial objects.

The weekend workshop concludes with a half-day trip to a sacred place in northern New Mexico (or a place near the workshop you are attending) where you will participate in a ritual based upon the Initiation you have been experiencing.

You can experience the Initiations individually, as an inter-generational experience or healing, or in a group.

All seven initiations can be experienced in a four day workshop. Or the initiations can be done in seven weekly sessions, or over seven month period.

Initiation Fees

Limit of ten people per session. There is an additional $33 materials fee to cover the costs of a creative project.

Expenses for staying in New Mexico for a weekend workshop are extra; however lodging arrangements in various price ranges can be made. Some weekend workshops can be held at the hot springs and healing resort at Ojo Caliente in northern New Mexico.
