PrayersA Way to "Vision" OurselvesPrayer is powerful. It is a way to vision ourselves into a new reality. Occasionally in various situations where I want something to materialize very badly, I hear Janis Joplin in the back of my head crying out, "O Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz, my friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends!" I wish it were that easy to ask for what we desire—to make a Mercedes appear, or a boyfriend, or rain, or a long life. Often it seems that effort results in nothing. However, once we give up, miracles occur simply and naturally—think how often you vision something into being despite your hard work and pushing! Prayer is a powerful way to vision something without effort. It allows the universe to provide for us. From within our deepest being, and in alignment with the universe's highest principles, we create the vibrational frequency that magnetizes and pulls the corresponding result toward us—seemingly out of the ether. Sound as PrayerSound is a powerful prayer: mantras are prayers, sutras are prayers reinforced
over the ages by millions of Drumming sets up vibrational force that has amazing healing power, and spins chakras into health and well-being, clearing and cleansing on the deepst levels. Each one of our chakras (and there are well more than the main seven) have their own sound/vibration. Likewise each of our seven main etheric bodies has a vibrational frequency that connotes well-being. Honoring OthersThe Sanskrit word namaste (pronounced nah-mah-STAY), commonly thought to mean "peace to you," or used as a simple greeting like "hi", in fact has deep significance as a way to honor another human being's presence. "The spirit in me honors the spirit in you" is more accurate, and this message calls us to create a sacred space around ourselves and merging with another that truly recognizes our deepest selves. Namaste is just as effective a prayer when expressed silently as it is when spoken outloud. Make it up! Shake it up!Prayer is something especially personal and can be most powerful in the moment! Opening our hearts and letting God speak through us is another way to ask for what we need, or to offer gratitude. And always and everywhere we acknowledge the power of the Creator to call forth miracles when we offer our personal will up to the source of all creation, "Thy Will be done!." A Collection of PrayersThis translation of the Our Father prayer has a wonderful intimacy to it. It proffers a way to "vision" a world where we are implementers of a profound Cosmic creativity and vision—beyond our personal expectations and desires, but born from them. The realities of quantum physics show us that we are experiencing the world and ourselves as waves or particles expressing energy. In this quantum reality, everything is potential until it is thought or perceived by us, by you, by me. Anything we can imagine has the potential to express itself immediately, synchronously, for us. This is a cosmic law, the law of quantum energy. In this context, you will know yourself and everyone else, all things seen and unseen, as pure "radiance and vibration" from the Father of profoundly expressive, ulimited, formless creativity. This prayer is an invocation to creating a vision for yourself where you can easily produce everything anyone needs to grow and flourish. Imagine! Envision! I consider this song by John Lennon to have been channeled from Divine Source. It has inspired many many people. Imagine
From an unknown Native American author, this poem was repoduced in Depak Chopra's, "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire." It reminds us that the field of our being is beyond, but encompassing, three-dimensional reality, the reality of our senses and physical self. We know in our hearts that our spiritual "home," the nonlocal Self, is everywhere and timeless. The local self, the "I" that we understand as our consciousness, is, as Chopra says, "the transient and impermanent behaviour of the nonlocal self. It comes and goes while the nonlocal self continues to evolve into higher experiences of abstraction and creativity." Transition
